The location and topography of the
site, with a Melbourne Water Drainage Scheme overland flow path
running through the site and the future VicRoads' Pakenham Bypass
along the northern boundary, poses numerous design issues requiring
ongoing liaison and negotiations with the Council, VicRoads,
Melbourne Water and service authorities.
Matters to be taken into
consideration include the requirements for ongoing site detention
and water quality treatment facilities.
The rezoning was successfully
completed and Planning Permits have been issued for Stages 1 to
4 of the development.
WBCM has prepared construction
plans and tender documents for road and drainage, Melbourne Water
Drainage Scheme works, water reticulation and sewerage reticulation
for these stages.
Works completed to date includes
the Koo Wee Rup Road duplication and signalised intersection for
SouthEast Boulevard and Livestcck Way.
Construction of the Green Hills
Road upgrade will commence shortly, and preliminary design work is
being undertaken for the western half of the site abutting McGregor
Road.
